Copenhagen Architecture Biennial 2025

Are you ready for the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial 2025? Here is your overview of Architecture events hosted by the Museum of Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Architecure Biennial 2025

Copenhagen Architecture Biennial 2025 - from September 18th to October 19th. The theme this year is "Slow down", which investigates architecture as matters of time and means of slowing down overheated sites, cities, and societies.

Of course the Museum of Copenhagen participates with events during the festival. Most are in Danish, but some can be enjoyed in English as well.

Architecture at Child’s Height

Go on an architecture hunt with Copenhagen Museum’s activity sheets for children and the young at heart. The sheets are free and available to all children who visit the museum’s ticket desk during the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial.

At Copenhagen Museum:

  • The museum is full of beautiful patterns — see if you can find our 8 favorites.
  • Keys, keys, keys — as many as 31 are hidden throughout the museum. Can you find them all?

In Copenhagen: Take part in architecture bingo around Copenhagen and spot 14 characteristic Copenhagen items in the cityscape. The bingo card is available in both Danish and English.

The Podcast series "Se Op - Arkitekternes København" (in Danish)

The podcast series is about the city’s buildings — and those who designed them.

In a series of conversations with selected experts, museum director Marius Hansteen zooms in on specific buildings — well-known and lesser-known — in the Copenhagen cityscape. Each podcast focuses on one architect. Together, the entire series forms a lively and accessible introduction to 400 years of Copenhagen’s architectural history.

There are route suggestions after each episode, ready for you to explore! Read more and find links to the episodes here (in Danish): https://cphmuseum.kk.dk/om-museet/museets-podcasts/podcastserien-se-op-arkitekternes-koebenhavn
