City Walk in English: King Christian the 4th's Copenhagen

King Christian the 4th is one of the most well-known and debated Danish kings. Follow in his footsteps and see examples on how he expanded, changed, and modernized Copenhagen from a medieval village to a royal city.

Learn about Christian the 4th as a king, a builder and Renaissance man, and see how he left his special mark on Copenhagen. The city walk will take you past Gråbrødre Torv, Børsen, Nytorv, Rundetårn and other Renaissance houses, squares, churches, and districts, that give an impression of city life in the 16th and 17th centuries.

The price does not include entrance to the Museum of Copenhagen.
