Copenhagen Pride in August

The Museum of Copenhagen is contributing with a range of activities in connection with Copenhagen Pride 2023, which takes place from Saturday, August 12 to Sunday, August 20.

The activities include a lecture (in Danish), city walks, and a pop-up exhibition/soundtrack.

Here are some exampels from our Pride program:

August 12-20, 9:00-18:00 (Thursday until 21:00): Follow the soundtrack "Queer in Copenhagen through 1000 years" in the museum's permanent exhibition, available in Danish and English. Admission with regular ticket: Entrance Ticket (kk.dk)

August 12-20, 9:00-18:00 (Thursday until 21:00): "Contemplation Room": Hang out in the museum café and ‘hygge’ courtyard (free admission).

August 17, 19:00: Lecture "Grænseløse drifter (Unbounded Desires) 1850-1920" – NB! In Danish
