10th-18th August during museum opening hours

Listen to 1000 years of queer history at the Museum of Copenhagen: At ten locations in the permanent exhibition, you can use your mobile phone to hear stories about people who deviated from the norms from the time of the Viking to today. Stories about the right to love and the circumstances that have influenced expressions of love over the centuries. Hear, for example, about the Norse god Odin, who, in the form of a mare, gave birth to a foal (!), how many lesbian women managed to stay under the radar throughout history, and about men meeting on the ramparts. Just remember to bring your mobile phone to scan the QR codes in the exhibitions to access these glimpses of queer history.
