Museum of Copenhagen is nominated for "City's Best Museum 2024"
Museum of Copenhagen is nominated for "Best City Museum 2024"
In the nomination, the Danish newspaper ‘Berlingske Tidende’ states: “When the Museum of Copenhagen relocated to Stormgade (our address in central Copenhagen, red.) in 2020, it was clear that the museum had suddenly found a setting that could truly propel it into the present day... Four years later, it is evident that the museum has been revitalised by its new surroundings. The small special exhibitions featuring Paul Fischer, Ib Antoni, and 'The Local Business!' have been spectacular… ”
"It is a great honour for us to be nominated for this award – we are truly delighted that the communication initiatives we have launched, including current exhibitions and podcasts, are being noticed so positively; and fortunately, this aligns perfectly with what our visitors are saying. If you agree, please support us with your vote – if you’re in doubt, drop by and see our latest special exhibition, 'The Local Business!'” says Museum Director Louise Jakobsen, Museum of Copenhagen.
